Rory Lowe is an Stand Up Comedian, Animator, Presenter and as his good friend Luke Kidgell says an "Internet sensation." Rory's partyboy anttics have seen him perform on stages and police stations from USA to Pakistan.
Rorys most recent international performance was supporting, (comedically and emotionally) The Machine - Bert Kreischer, on the Australian and USA legs of his Body Shots World Tour.
Coachella headliners Tame Impala said "Rory Lowe is funnier than he is insane" and since he has been held at gunpoint in Pakistan, kidnapped by Meth-Heads in the Australian Outback and offered $50,000 for butt-sex his life isn't exactly mundane.... you'll have to come to a show if you want to know more about the butt stuff.
Although Stand Up is Rorys passion, his online voice over series "Aussie Peppa Pig" and "Aussie Disney" were the catalyses to his recent fame. To which Rory took full advantage of, a began learning how to animate and create his own original cartoon series. The first episode of his animated series "The Cigs" sky rocketed to a million views on Facebook.
John first caught the stand-up bug after a visit to a comedy club in Dublin and quickly discovered that making a clown out of himself wasn’t all that bad. He instantly made a splash in his native Ireland with his laid-back delivery and natural stage presence and within eight months of his first gig, appeared on TV in RTE’s The Liffey Laugh; an unheard of feat for a newcomer.
Cementing his status as a promising newcomer in the stand-up world, John accepted an invitation to perform at the prestigious invite only Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival. He was subsequently invited to tour around South Africa, coinciding with the Lions Tour, as well as appearing on stage in America, Europe and the Middle East. He made his long awaited debut at the Edinburgh Fringe festival last year with his first solo show Social Networking.
John is now based in London, and is busy working his way up the stand-up ladder, earning his stripes at all the major UK comedy clubs and playing regular weekends at The Comedy Store.
